"Loads of running gear to choose from"
I was after a new pair of running shoes and ended up spending about half an hour browsing runandbecome.com. There were roughly all the main types covered, road shoes, trail shoes, spikes, plus extras like socks, gels and other bits you always end up needing.
I liked that they had a good mix of brands and widths too, not just the usual 3 or 4 options. It made comparing things easy without having to open loads of different sites. I’ll probably use them again when my current pair has a few hundred more miles on them

I've ordered twice now and both times the deliveries arrived exactly when they said they would. It was just easy and no hassle, if that makes sense.

"Return was easy, honestly"
I had to send back a pair of shoes because they just didn’t fit right, which is always a bit annoying, but the whole return thing was actually really straightforward. I was expecting to have to email or chase someone, but nope, the refund came through quicker than I thought too. Anyway, hassle-free overall, and I’d use runandbecome.com again.

"Really pleased with these running shoes"
I bought a pair of running shoes from runandbecome.com after a friend from my weekend running group mentioned them, and I’m glad I gave them a try. They feel really good quality, solid but still light, and I haven’t had any rubbing so far, which is always the thing I worry about with new shoes.
I’ve been wearing them for a few weeks now on my usual runs, and they still look almost new. They’ve been comfortable from the start and feel like they’ll last, so I’m happy with the purchase and would definitely order from them again.

"Really helpful in-store fitting"
I went into Run and Become to get a new pair of running shoes and had a genuinely good experience. The staff took their time, watched me run a little, and brought out a few different options without making it feel like a big production.
I ended up with a pair that felt right pretty much straight away, which is exactly what you’d hope for when you’re buying running shoes in person. Friendly people, no pressure, no hard sell, just sensible help. I’d happily go back next time

"Order went through fine, but something felt a bit off"
Ordering on the website was straightforward, and the shoes did show up in good condition. That said, the delivery took longer than I expected, and the tracking updates weren’t very helpful. Nothing was seriously wrong, but something felt a little off with the whole process. Overall, it was okay, just not especially smooth.

"Refund took a little while, but it worked out"
I had to send back a pair of shoes because they didn’t really fit right. The refund wasn’t exactly quick, I think it took a few days after they received the parcel, so I was a bit unsure at first. I did chase it up with customer service, and they got back to me, which helped. In the end, the money came through fine. Overall, decent experience, just maybe wish the refund had been a bit faster

When the package showed up, the box was bent enough that I was a bit unsure at first. I went with my gut and checked the shoes right away, and thankfully they were totally fine. Packaging could’ve been better, but the actual product was okay.

Everything went mostly fine from what I remember, and there wasn’t anything that really stood out as a big problem. I did have to wait a bit here and there to hear back, so the communication wasn’t the quickest, but it wasn’t a huge deal

I ordered from Run and Become once and everything went smoothly. The website seemed trustworthy, the confirmation emails came through fine, and my shoes arrived as expected. Delivery was a bit slower than I’d hoped, but nothing too bad. Weirdly, I remember the box had a tiny leaf stuck to the tape, which made me laugh for some reason. Overall, no complaints and I’d probably use them again

I did get some genuinely useful advice on running shoes, and it seemed like they knew what they were talking about. The website was a bit clunky though, and the delivery updates weren’t great. To be fair, I might’ve just ordered at a bad time or when things were busier than usual. Overall it was okay, just not amazing

"Surprisingly helpful customer service"
I had a small issue with my order and emailed them, not expecting much because, you know, customer service these days. But they actually replied quickly, which was a nice surprise. The person I spoke to was friendly and fixed it without turning it into some long, unnecessary ordeal. It genuinely felt like they read my message instead of just firing off a copy-paste reply, which apparently is a lot to ask now. I’d happily order from Run and Become again.

"Gait analysis was okay, but just a heads up"
I went in for a gait analysis and, to be fair, it was fine overall. The staff were friendly and definitely seemed to know what they were talking about, but I’d warn people not to expect a super in-depth session if they’re busy. The actual check felt a bit rushed, and while I did get some helpful shoe advice, it wasn’t as detailed as I’d hoped. Not a bad experience, but not amazing either. I might go back, but probably only at a quieter time.

I had a sizing issue after my order and felt a bit ignored at first, which was frustrating. Once they got back to me though, they were quick and sorted it out without making it a big hassle. I did appreciate that in the end.

"Staff really know their stuff"
I popped in after lunch because I’d been meaning to sort out some new trainers for ages and kept putting it off. I had no idea what I needed, apart from the fact my old ones were starting to feel awful. The staff were really helpful and asked loads of sensible questions without making it feel awkward or like they were trying to sell me the most expensive pair. They explained everything in a normal, easy way, and I left with shoes that actually feel right. Really good shop, I’d definitely go back

"Size guide nailed it"
I wasn’t totally sure which size to order, so I went with the sizing advice on the site. From my experience, it was genuinely spot on, the shoes fit just right straight out of the box. Really glad I didn’t have to deal with returns or exchanges. Super happy with how it worked out

Run and Become had a really good selection of running shoes, more than I was expecting. I came across a few brands and models that I don’t usually see in my regular shops, and the sizing info, for the most part, was helpful.
The only reason I’d go with 4 stars is that a few pairs were out of stock in my size, which was a bit frustrating. But overall, it was easy to browse, I found plenty of options, and I’d definitely use them again
